I bought this dilator set to use for therapy for scar tissue resulting from a tear during child birth. It does its job and works well for me, since I only needed a simple set. The vibrator works just fine, though it took a little bit to figure out that I needed to remove the plastic sleeve from the battery compartment to put the batteries in. The "locking ring" that is advertised as coming with the set is actually attached to the set, not a separate piece as is shown in the pictures. I have not tried anything with the silicone sleeve, so I cannot comment on that.
After having used this set, I would probably buy another, slightly more expensive set. This set is very hard plastic, it has no give to it, which is very uncomfortable. Since buying this set, I have learned that softer cones are recommended for dilation therapy because they give a gentler stretch and mimic real life. The cones are tapered only at the very tip, it would be nicer to have cones that have a slightly more elongated taper so that you can slowly work up to the full dilation. The vibrator does not really add any value to the set as it really isn't that great of a vibrator--if you want a vibrator, buy a real vibrator. The set did not come with any instructions to assist with use--it would have been nice to have some suggestions as to how often and how long to use the dilators.
So, if I had known all of this when I was looking for a set of dilators, I would have spent a little more money and bought a different set.
